Qurex is a natural oak bark extract designed to help recreate the characteristic “black water” environment in aquariums. The humic compounds and tannins present in the extract gently acidify the water, lower its hardness and give it a pleasant amber colour.

This product is particularly recommended for tanks with discus, angelfish, South American cichlids, characins, Colisa, Corydoras and other species that prefer soft, slightly acidic water conditions. For an even stronger effect, Qurex can be used together with Torfin Complex.
